MJH Car Rental Terms & Conditions
Tax: 5% VAT
Additional driver: Dhs. 25/day/driver with a maximum amount of Dhs. 150/driver.
Rental Contract Max 3 additional drivers are allowed.
Age: Min age – 21 years old. Max age – 75 years old.
An extra charge of AED 500 will be charged for a young or senior driver.
Airport surcharge: AED 25 airport surcharge will be charged at Abu Dhabi Airport 24/7 Station.
Rental deposit: Deposit amount of the estimated rental charges plus AED 1500/- will be locked on the client’s credit card.
Delivery / Collection: In Abu Dhabi, a minimum charge of Dhs. 30/- each way will be charged.
Additional cost for outer Abu Dhabi locations starting from AED 300 Such as : Al Ruwais, Liwa Oasis, Al Mirfa, Ghayathi, Al Sila, Sweihan, Al Samha, Tarif.
Driving licence: UAE Driving License is a must for All Residents from any nationality.
Residents of Gulf Countries (GCC) can drive with their GCC Driving License.
National Driving Licence is accepted from visitors who are citizens of these countries (UK, USA, FRANCE, JAPAN, BELGIUM, HOLLAND, SWITZERLAND, DENMARK, GERMANY, ITALY, SWEDEN, GREECE, AUSTRIA, IRELAND, SPAIN, NORWAY),
else International Driving licence is a must for visitors who are citizens of other countries. (TURKEY, CANADA, POLAND, SOUTH KOREA, FINLAND, SOUTH AFRICA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, ROMANIA, SINGAPORE, HONG KONG, PORTUGAL, LUXEMBOURG, SLOVENIA, LATVIA, LITHUANIA, CHINA & HUNGARY).
Fuel: Fuel Policy is Full to Full.
If returned empty or with less fuel, then charges will apply (Equal to refueling cost + 10% service charge).
Insurances: Rates include standard insurance with excess of AED [1200-3500] varies per car category.
Full insurance is provided upon request at 20-100 AED per day depending on the vehicle category.
One-way rentals:
Domestic: Domestic one-way between the emirates of UAE is allowed.
International: Int’l one-way rental is not allowed to other countries.
Crossborder: Cross Border Insurance fees = AED 750/- for 1-7 days, then AED 100/- per each additional day, up to a maximum amount of AED 1500/- per rental.
The purchase of “Oman Insurance” for UAE vehicles driving into Oman, where vehicles can’t be left there and should be driven back to UAE, as we offer NO Oneway to Oman.
(Mileage will be restricted to 250 km/DAY in case of cross border for all SIPPS).
Other services: Additional charges are applicable for Nav/GPS system, tracker system, child/baby seats, Spare-key, or any other additional service requirements.
Restriction of use:
a) In violation of traffic and other regulations;
b) For illegal actions;
c) For re-renting;
d) For driving on terrain or roads that are not suitable for the Vehicle;
e) On rallies, off-roading or racing events.
Use of Winter Tyres: Winter tyres are not required.
Specific note: To hire a car, the client needs a valid passport or ID, driving licence, and credit card.
Other: Additional charges are applicable for Nav/GPS system, tracker system, child/baby seats, Spare-key, or any other additional service requirements.

To ensure a smooth transaction, please carefully review the following mandatory terms and conditions related to our goods/services.
“(Website) will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE”.
Governing Law:
“Any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE”
Refund Policy :
“Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment”.

Card Types accepted and Currency:
Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay.
Debit Card / Cash is not accepted for the deposit. Only credit card deposit is accepted.
“We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency)”. The logo of the accepted cards is to be mentioned on their Home page and on their Payment check out page.
